- Burns and scalds
- Poisoning
- Eye injury
- Low blood sugar
- Severe allergic reaction
Emergency First Aid Course
The Emergency First Aid Course is divided into several units including the core units below:
- Role of a First Aider
- Priorities of First Aid
- Managing an Incident
- Causes and care of the unconscious casualty
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Bleeding and Shock
- Choking
- Burns and Scalds
- Anaphylaxis
- Manage the Transportation of a Casualty
- Record Keeping & Accident Reporting
- Practical demonstration and use of an AED
This 1-day Emergency First Aid course is aimed at introducing first aid training to those who work in low risk environments such as corporate, retail, education and sports.
